SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:
At Laughing Giraffe Books, what you see is what you get. All of our shipping and handling, gift wrapping, and prize related costs are included in the price of our Book Sets and Book of the Month selections. Unlike other “lower cost” alternatives, there are never any hidden fees or additional shipping or packaging costs*.
Laughing Giraffe Books offers shipping throughout the United States (including P.O. Boxes) and does all of its shipping through the United States Postal Service. Book Sets are shipped Parcel Post within 48 hours following the receipt of an order, and usually reach their destination within 2-8 days of shipping. Book of the Month selections are sent at the beginning of the month through USPS via Media Mail. Prizes will be mailed in a separate package, either Parcel Post or Media Mail depending on the prize, upon receipt of the completed game.
All of our products can be upgraded to UPS Ground (2-3 days) during the checkout process for an additional cost. Or, we are happy to ship via an alternate carrier. A sales tax of 6.25% is added to all orders shipped to Massachusetts addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to gift recipients outside Massachusetts.
Laughing Giraffe Books will accept authorized returns within 14 days as long as the items are returned in full, unused and in their original, saleable condition. If you need to make a return, please call customer service at 1-800-542-2928 or email a request to CustomerService@LaughingGiraffeBooks.com within 14 days of receiving your order for authorization and instructions. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Refunds will be credited to the gift giver’s credit card. No cash refunds.
At Laughing Giraffe Books, we research and select high quality books for children and bundle them in terrifically fun gift sets- ready to be enthusiastically ripped open! And just to make sure children love the books as much as we hope, we include a Search & Find game- with one questions tied to each book in the collection- to be completed for a prize. For this reason, we are unable to make any book substitutions.
In the event that your Book Set or Book of the Month selection arrives damaged, please contact customer service within 14 days and we will gladly replace it. Please hold on to all damaged items until after you have received instructions.
